Protecting your Breakthrough - part 1
This sermon examines Acts chapter 12, where King Herod Agrippa attacks the early church by executing James and imprisoning Peter. While Peter awaits execution, the church organizes and prays fervently for him, resulting in God sending an angel to miraculously free him. The message emphasizes that when God brings breakthrough moments in our lives—whether through open doors, opportunities, or vindication—spiritual attacks often follow to steal what God has started. One key to protecting these breakthroughs is organized, fervent prayer. The sermon challenges believers to move beyond individual prayer to corporate, consistent, concentrated prayer with conviction, trusting that God will cover the gaps we cannot reach. Just as the church's seven-day prayer meeting resulted in Peter's supernatural deliverance and ultimately Herod's downfall, our fervent prayers activate God's intervention to remove obstacles and fulfill His purposes in our lives.
