Celebration Sunday Survey
Grace and peace family,
By God's grace, and in accordance with CDC and Texas Health and Human Services guidelines, we are planning to facilitate gathering again for worship starting Celebration Sunday--October 4th, 1pm in the E. M. Franklin chapel at St. James Baptist Church at 1812 E. M. Franklin Ave.
As we prepare, please complete the following survey by Tuesday, September 15th, to help our leadership team plan and properly prepare for our return.
In order to keep everyone safe and implement recommended guidelines for gatherings, we have ensured:
1. Hand sanitizer will be available by entry and exit doors,
2. Entry and exit points will be clearly defined for social distancing when entering and exiting,
3. Restrooms, doors, the sanctuary and equipment will be cleaned between Sunday uses,
4. Online giving will remain an option to use during worship, along with a socially distancing method to give in person, and
5. Live stream worship will continue for those sick, at-risk, uncomfortable or unable to attend.

In accordance with the Texas Health and Human Services recommendations, all those attending in person are asked to:
- check personal temperatures prior to attending worship and remain home if a temperature reads 99.1 or higher,
- remain home if positive with COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19, or have made contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19,
- submit to a touch-less temperature check prior to entering the sanctuary,
- sit by family groups that arrived together,
- sit in pews with instructions signage, near the signs, to facilitate safer spaces,
- use hand sanitizer when entering and exiting,
- wear masks (unless on program), and
- practice social distance when outside the sanctuary.
